The COSAFA Women's Championship 2017 , the women's soccer championship of southern Africa , is scheduled to take place in Bulawayo , Zimbabwe from September 13 to 24, 2017 . The tournament is organized by the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA).
Participant and mode
12 teams have confirmed their participation in the tournament. These play in the group stage in three groups of four teams each. The group first and the best second in the group qualify for the semi-finals.
Venues
The tournament is to take place in Bulawayo in two stadiums.
Finals
The group draw took place on August 23, 2017.
Group stage
The group stage schedule was changed at short notice in early September.
