Campo Grande is a town in the Tarija Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Campo Grande is the largest town in the canton of Porcelana in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Bermejo in the southeastern part of the province of Aniceto Arce . The village is located at an altitude of 368 m south of the airport of Bermejo , between the Río Bermejo and the Río Tarija , about ten kilometers north of the junction of the two rivers.

Campo Grande is located on the southeast edge of the Bolivian Andes chain in the transition to the Gran Chaco , which stretches across northwest Paraguay , northeast Argentina and southeast Bolivia. The climate is subtropical with hot humid summers and moderately warm and dry winters.

Campo Grande is 219 kilometers by road in a south-easterly direction from Tarija , the capital of the department.
Campo Grande is nine kilometers south of the city of Bermejo by road, which connects it to a country road.
From Bermejo to the northwest, the paved road Ruta 1 leads via Padcaya and Valle de Concepción (formerly: Concepción ) to the capital Tarija. The Ruta 1 traverses from there in a northerly direction the entire Bolivian Altiplano and performs on the cities Potosí , Oruro and El Alto to Desaguadero at the Peruvian border.
From Bermejo to the northeast, the highway Ruta 33 leads to Caraparí , where it connects to the Ruta 29 , which meets the lowland highway Ruta 9 at Campo Pajoso, which goes from Yacuiba in the south via the metropolis of Santa Cruz all the way north to Guayaramerín in the Beni lowlands on the Brazilian border.
