Campo Marte

The Campo Marte is an equestrian center in Mexico City , in addition to the Chapultepecpark and near the National Auditorium is located. It is a rectangular field with stands on the east and west sides. At the 1968 Summer Olympics it was the venue for horse riding competitions . For this occasion, temporary grandstands were built so that show jumping had 7,885 spectators and dressage 4,990. The offices are located under the permanent grandstands. Additional offices were set up in the officers' mess nearby during the Olympic Games .
