Pista de Hielo Insurgentes

The Pista de Hielo Insurgentes was an ice rink in Mexico City . It was built in 1962 and was divided into two parts of the building. The changing rooms, administration and the warm-up area were located in a rectangular part of the building, while the ice rink was connected in a hall with a vaulted roof. There was space for 3386 spectators in the hall. For the 1968 Summer Olympics , the hall was prepared according to the rules of the Fédération Internationale des Luttes Associées , so that the wrestling competitions could be held there. Afterwards, the hall was still used for ice sports.
