Carlos Riolfo Secco (born November 5, 1905 in Montevideo , † December 5, 1978 there ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Club career

He played for Peñarol from at least 1926 to 1931 in his home country . There he was involved in winning the Uruguayan championship in 1928 and 1929. In 1927 Peñarol was also runner-up. He later moved to Argentina, where he worked for Estudiantes de La Plata in 1933 .

National team

The midfielder was a member of the Uruguayan national soccer team . For this he completed at least two international matches in 1928, when he was used in the Copa Newton and the Copa Lipton . He also belonged to the Uruguayan squad, which was able to secure the world championship title at the football World Cup in 1930 when this event was held for the first time. In the course of the tournament, however, he did not play a game.
