From 1935 to 1937 he was active for Peñarol . With the Aurinegros he won three other national championship titles in the years 1935 to 1937 and was the goalkeeper of the Black and Yellows in all three seasons. In the entire club membership to Peñarol he remained in the Clásicos called games against arch-rivals Nacional without defeat. He was also on the field for the Aurinegros in 1936 during a night tournament in Argentina with his two important comrades-in-arms Aguirre and Arispe - for the last time in their careers - even though those two actually belonged to the Rampla Juniors.
