Celles is a former French community with 213 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Saint-Flour and the Canton of Murat .
With effect from December 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Neussargues-Moissac , Celles , Chalinargues , Chavagnac and Sainte-Anastasie were merged into a commune nouvelle with the name Neussargues en Pinatelle .

Celles is located around 15 kilometers northwest of the small town of Saint-Flour , northeast of the Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park . The Alagnon flows through the area . The most important traffic connection is the national route 122 , which runs past in the north . The nearest train station is in Neussargues. Celles is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Chalinargues in the north, Neussargues-Moissac in the northeast, Coltines in the east, Ussel in the south, La Chappele-d'Alagnon in the west and Virargues in the northwest.
