Cheikhou Dieng (born November 23, 1993 in Thiès ) is a Senegalese football player .
Career
Dieng started his career at Ndar Guedj . For the 2012 season he moved to Norway to Sandefjord Fotball , where he made his debut in the second division in April 2012 . With Sandefjord, he rose to the top division in 2015. After relegation, he moved to Austria to SKN St. Pölten in January 2016 .
After St. Pölten's promotion to the Bundesliga , Dieng moved to Turkey for Istanbul Başakşehir FK in summer 2016 , with whom he signed a contract valid until 2019. In January 2017 he returned to the SKN St. Pölten on loan. For the 2017/18 season he was loaned to the Turkish second division club MKE Ankaragücü . In February 2018 he was sent to Serbia to FK Spartak Subotica lent.
In August 2018 he returned to Austria and joined the Bundesliga club FC Wacker Innsbruck on loan . With Wacker, he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2019. After the loan ended, he did not return to Turkey and left Başakşehir. After half a year without a club, he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC in January 2020 , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020.
