Stefan Perić (born February 13, 1997 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian football player . His parents are from Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Career

society

Perić joined the youth team at FC Red Bull Salzburg in March 2006 . In 2014 Salzburg transferred him to their cooperation partner FC Liefering . He made his professional debut against LASK on August 22, 2014 in the first division .

For the 2015/16 season , Stefan Perić moved to the second team at VfB Stuttgart , for which he played 65 third-party and regional league games.

For the 2018/19 season , Perić returned to Austria, where he joined the newly promoted Bundesliga club FC Wacker Innsbruck . His contract runs until June 2020. With Wacker he had to be relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the season .

He then moved to Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC for the 2019/20 season , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021.

National team

With the Austrian U-16 national team , Perić faced Slovakia in September 2012 and twice against Germany the following month. He played for the Austrian U-17 national team at the U-17 European Championship in 2013 and the U-17 World Championship in 2013 . Perić took part in the U-19 European Championships in 2015 and 2016 with Austria's U-19 national team.

In March 2019 he made his debut against Spain for the U-21 selection .
