Marcel Holzer (born October 6, 1998 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Holzer began his career at ASK Klagenfurt . In 2007 he moved to AC in Klagenfurt . In addition, from 2011 he played in the AKA Kärnten . In 2014 he went to the academy of FK Austria Vienna .

For the 2015/16 season he moved to the Carinthian 1st class B for SV Rosegg . After half a year he left the club and joined the amateurs of Wolfsberger AC . With the WAC II he had to relegate to the Carinthian League that season .

In October 2016, he made his professional debut in the Bundesliga when he was brought into play for Christopher Wernitznig on matchday 11 of the 2016/17 season against FC Red Bull Salzburg in minute 83 .

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the second division TSV Hartberg . With Hartberg he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2018. In February 2019 it was awarded to the second division SKU Amstetten . After the loan ended, he did not return to Hartberg.

In August 2019 he returned to the third rate amateurs of the WAC. In December 2019 he was against FK Austria Wien for the first time after his return in the Wolfsberg professional squad.
