Marko Soldo (born September 13, 1996 ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .

Career

Soldo began his career at FC Kärnten . In 2007 he moved to SV Viktoria Viktring . In 2009 he joined the youth team of SK Austria Kärnten . From 2010 he played for SK Austria Klagenfurt .

In 2012 Soldo moved to Wolfsberger AC . In May 2013 he made his debut for the amateurs of the WAC in the Carinthian League when he was in the starting line-up against SG Drautal on matchday 24 of the 2012/13 season . In the same month he was against FC Admira Wacker Mödling for the first time in the professional squad.

At the end of the season he was promoted to the regional league with the WAC amateurs . There he made his debut in August 2013 against Villacher SV .

After more than 40 games for the WAC's second team, he moved to the fourth-class VST Völkermarkt after relegation from the regional league in summer 2017 . After a season at Völkermarkt, he returned to the WAC in the summer of 2017, where he was initially to be used again for the amateurs who had been promoted back to the regional league.

After being in the professional squad for the first time after his return in October 2017, he finally made his debut in the Bundesliga in May 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against LASK on matchday 35 of the 2017/18 season.

Personal

His brother Ambrozije (* 1998) is also a soccer player.
