Christopher Robin Felix (born May 27, 1964 in Bramalea , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Washington Capitals and in the German Ice Hockey League for the Adler Mannheim and the Kaufbeurer Adler .
Career
The 6-foot-tall defender began his career with Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Canadian Junior League OHL , before he was signed by the Capitals as an undrafted free agent in 1988 .
For the capital city the right-shooter completed 35 games in the highest North American professional league by 1991 , but most of the time he spent with the Fort Wayne Komets and the Baltimore Skipjacks , two Washington farm teams from the IHL and the AHL . For the 1991/92 season moved Felix to Innsbruck EV in the Austrian Bundesliga , another station in Austria was the Klagenfurt AC , which he in 1995 towards HC Servette Genève in the Swiss National League B left.
After a one-year engagement with Tampereen Ilves in the Finnish SM-liiga , the Canadian signed a contract with the Kaufbeurer Adler for the 1997/98 season , which he left during the season to end the season with the league competitor and reigning German champions from Mannheim . Felix won the championship again with the Eagles and then went back to North America, where he played for various minor league teams and ended his career in 2001.
