Christoph M. Frisch
Christoph M. Frisch (born December 8, 1959 in Neunkirchen / Saar ) is a German visual artist .
biography
After training as a goldsmith , church painting and graphic arts ( screen printing , etching ), Frisch has been working as a freelance artist since 1979.
The artist lives and works in Tholey .

Frisch developed a canon of figures, which he implemented in a wide variety of painting and sculptural techniques. Image cycles on Baudelaire , Rimbaud or the Old Testament Joseph shape the creative period of the eighties and nineties. “Christoph M Frisch is a post-modern artist. One of their characteristics is the variation in styles. Frisch's work also oscillates between abstraction and figuration, between realism and the free play of forms. The pendulum keeps swinging in one direction or the other. "
In addition to his painterly work, Frisch also dealt with the material glass. Here, too, his mannerist, elongated figures dominate. Combinations of painting and sculpture can be found in his church window designs. In the area of design, Frisch combines the areas of photography and glass. Examples are the culture window of the art center Bosener Mühle or the permanent exhibition “Tale of Europe” in the Tholey foam mountain tower .
Since 2011, Frisch has been working in an inclusive project he developed with disabled and non-disabled young people.
