Clemens Hillebrand (* 1955 in Cologne ) is a German church painter, glass artist and graphic artist .

Life

Hillebrand also enjoyed academic training as a painter. After a short time he broke off his visit to the Düsseldorf Art Academy. He acquired his practical knowledge of glass painting, wall painting and etching in various artist workshops such as Holger Runge's etching workshop in Meerbusch, or in his father's sculpture workshop, Elmar Hillebrand . Since 1983 he has been working as a freelance painter. Hillebrand has furnished numerous churches, especially in the Rhineland, with colored windows and wall paintings. Another focus of his artistic work are vedutas in Cologne and the Rhineland.
