Collins Ngoran Suiru Fai (born August 13, 1992 in Bamenda ) is a Cameroonian football player .

Career

Fai can be used both as a right and left-back, in his youth he played for his hometown club FC Bamenda until 2011. He was then under contract with Union Douala until 2013, where he was deployed 18 times. In the 2011/12 season he was with Union champions of the Première Division (Cameroon) . This was followed by a loan to the Njala Quan Sports Academy . After this loan, he moved to Romania to Dinamo Bucharest in summer 2013 , where he was under contract until January 2016. This was followed by a move to Standard Liège in Belgium. Here he and the team won the Belgian Cup in 2016 and 2018.

National team

Collins Fai has so far been used in the U-21 selection as well as for the U-23 selection in the country. The first game in the senior national team followed in October 2015 in a friendly against the Nigerian national soccer team . At the African Cup of Nations in 2017 , he won the title with Cameroon. He also took part in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia and the 2019 Africa Cup . In the latter, he played in two of three group matches and in the round of 16, in which the Cameroonian national team were eliminated by Nigeria.
