Noë Dussenne (born April 7, 1992 in Mons ) is a Belgian football player . The central defender is currently under contract with Standard Liège .

Career

Dussenne last played as a teenager at the RAEC Mons in his hometown. As a youth player, he was part of the Mons squad in the promotion games for the first division in the 2010/11 season and was in the 2-1 win in the last decisive promotion game against KSVK United on May 27, 2010 for the first time in his career directly during the entire game on the pitch.

In the next two seasons he played only a few games for Mons in the first division. For the 2012/13 season he was loaned to AFC Tubize , who was then playing in the second division . Dussenne was in the starting line-up in 28 of 34 games. Accordingly, a contract extension with Mons was agreed in March 2013. He returned to Mons in the 2013/14 season. In the new season he developed into a regular player at Mons. At the end of the season, Mons was five points behind the last place in the table and was relegated.

Dussenne moved to Cercle Bruges for the 2014/15 season with a contract term of three years , who was only able to save himself from relegation from the previous year. In Bruges he was on the field in 30 of 34 games. After Cercle Bruges lost the relegation round at the end of the season and relegated to the second division.

He then moved to league rivals Royal Mouscron-Péruwelz and played 38 of the 40 season games there. Only in two games, where he was banned due to five yellow or one red-yellow card, did he not play.

In August 2016, Dussenne moved to Italy for FC Crotone , where he signed a three-year contract. The club was promoted to Serie A , the highest Italian league, in this 2016/17 season . In most games, however, he was there on the bench without being substituted on.

At the end of August 2017, he was loaned back to his home country at the KAA Gent for a year without an option to buy. There he was only used in four league and two cup games until December 2017. In the rest of the season he was sometimes not even in the matchday squad.

After the loan expired, Dussenne was back in the squad of FC Crotone. After missing the first two games of the 2018/19 season, a permanent move back to Belgium was agreed. He signed another contract with Royal Excelsior Mouscron, this time for two years with the option of an extension for another year. There it was actually used increasingly again.

In August 2019 he moved to Standard Liège . After playing two games for the club, he injured himself in training at the end of August. The cruciate ligament rupture is expected to be absent between six and twelve months.

National team

In a friendly against Russia on August 15, 2012, Dussenne played his only international match for the Belgian U-20 national team . Due to age, there can be no further games here.

He was not called to the senior national team until December 2019.
