The Communauté de communes de Portes Puisaye Forterre is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Yonne and Nièvre region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on December 6, 2012 and comprised 18 parishes. The administrative seat was in Moutiers-en-Puisaye . A special feature was the cross-departmental structure of the municipalities.

Historical development

The community association was created through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes de Saint-Sauveur-en-Puisaye and Communauté de communes Puisaye Nivernaise .

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes de Puisaye-Forterre .
