geography

Bitry is located about 50 kilometers southwest of Auxerre in the Puisaye natural landscape between the Loire and Yonne rivers . Bitry is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye in the north, Dampierre-sous-Bouhy in the east, Ciez in the southeast, Alligny-Cosne in the south and Saint-Vérain in the west.
