The Communauté de communes du Sud-Artois is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It was founded on December 12, 2012 and comprises 64 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Bapaume .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2013 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes de la Région de Bapaume , Communauté de communes du Canton de Bertincourt and parts of the Communauté de communes du Sud Arrageois .

With effect from January 1, 2017, six municipalities ( Hébuterne , Foncquevillers , Gommecourt , Puisieux , Sailly-au-Bois and Souastre ) of the disbanded Communauté de communes des Deux Sources joined the local association.
