Metz-en-Couture is a French municipality with 664 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Arras and the Canton of Bapaume (until 2015: Canton Bertincourt ). The inhabitants are called Herminois .

Metz-en-Couture is located about 17 kilometers south-southwest of Cambrai . Metz-en-Couture is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Havrincourt in the north, Villers-Plouich in the northeast, Gouzeaucourt in the east, Heudicourt in the southeast, Sorel and Fins in the south and Neuville-Bourjonval in the west.
