Oppy is a commune in the French Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Brebières (until 2015: canton of Vimy ) in the Arrondissement of Arras . The inhabitants are called Oppynois .

geography

Oppy is about nine kilometers northeast of Arras . and borders on Arleux-en-Gohelle to the north and northwest, Fresnoy-en-Gohelle to the north, Neuvireuil to the east, Fresnes-lès-Montauban to the southeast, Gavrelle to the south and Bailleul-Sir-Berthoult to the west and southwest.
