Monchy-au-Bois is a French commune with a population of 561 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Arras and the canton of Avesnes-le-Comte (until 2015: canton of Beaumetz-lès-Loges ). The inhabitants are called Monciaquois .

Monchy-au-Bois is about 14 kilometers southwest of Arras . Monchy-au-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Berles-au-Bois in the north and northwest, Ransart in the north and northeast, Adinfer in the east and northeast, Douchy-lès-Ayette in the east, Bucquoy in the south and east, Hannescamps in the south as well Bienvilliers-au-Bois to the west and south-west.
