Ruyaulcourt is a commune in the French Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Bapaume (until 2015 canton of Bertincourt ) in the Arrondissement of Arras . It borders on Bertincourt in the northwest , Hermies in the northeast, Havrincourt in the east, Neuville-Bourjonval in the southeast and Ytres in the southwest .

The Canal du Nord passes the municipal marker north and west of the village center and runs underground for a length of 4,350 meters from Ruyaulcourt via Ytres into the Somme department . The tunnel is called Souterrain de Ruyaulcourt .
