Roeux ( Flemish : Rode ) is a French municipality with 1446 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Arras and the canton of Brebières (until 2015: canton of Vitry-en-Artois ).

Rœux is located about eight kilometers east of the city center of Arras on the canalized Scarpe . Rœux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gavrelle in the north, Plouvain in the east and northeast, Pelves in the south and southeast and Fampoux in the west.

Autoroute A1 and - on the eastern edge of the municipality - Autoroute A26 lead through the municipality .
