The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Arras and Avesnes-le-Comte (until 2015: Canton Pas-en-Artois ). The inhabitants are called Mondicourtois .

Mondicourt is about 25 kilometers west-southwest of Arras city center . Mondicourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lucheux in the north, Grincourt-lès-Pas in the east and northeast, Pas-en-Artois in the south and Pommera in the west.
