Hénin-sur-Cojeul is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Neuville-Vitasse in the north, Saint-Martin-sur-Cojeul in the east and north-east, Croisilles in the south-east, Saint-Léger in the south and Boiry-Becquerel in the west and south-west.
