Bailleul-Sir-Berthoult is a French commune in Arrondissement Arras in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to Arras-2 (until 2015: Canton Vimy ). It has 1,412 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), who are called Bailleulois .

Bailleul-Sir-Berthoult is about six kilometers northeast of Arras . Bailleul-Sir-Berthoult is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Willerval in the north, Arleux-en-Gohelle in the north and northeast, Oppy in the northeast, Gavrelle in the east, Athies in the south, Saint-Laurent-Blangy in the southwest, Roclincourt in the west and southwest, Thélus in the west and northwest and Farbus in the northwest.
The A26 autoroute runs through the municipality .
history
During the First World War , Bailleul-Sir-Berthoult was completely destroyed. After the war the place was completely reconstructed.
