On January 17, 2008, Adams was given up to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a performance-related option during the 2009 NHL Entry Draft . Less than a year later he moved to the Pittsburgh Penguins , with whom he won the Stanley Cup a second time at the end of the season .
