Creedence Clearwater Revival, 1968

This discography is an overview of the musical works of the American rock group Creedence Clearwater Revival (also CCR ).

The band released seven studio albums during their active time from 1968 to 1972 , all of which were awarded precious metal. Cosmo's Factory , the most commercially successful studio production, received four times platinum . The most successful album overall is the compilation Chronicle - The 20 Greatest Hits , for which there was even a diamond award (10 times platinum).

Most of the single releases were in the international charts , many in the top 10. Five songs made it to the top position in the countries listed: Proud Mary and Lookin 'Out My Back Door in Austria, Bad Moon Rising in the UK, Hey Tonight in Germany and Sweet Hitch-Hiker in Switzerland. With the exception of the gold award-winning Sweet Hitch-Hiker , these titles each received a platinum record in the USA. In addition, only the single Down on the Corner made it , the highest ranking of which was 2nd in Germany.

According to the sources, they have sold more than 49.5 million records in their careers. The most successful release of Creedence Clearwater Revival is the album Chronicle - The 20 Greatest Hits with around 10.8 million units sold.
