The World Curling Championships the women's 1,995 (official: Ford World Women's Curling Championship in 1995 ) was the 17th staging of the World Championships in curling of the ladies. The tournament was held from April 8th to 16th of that year in the Canadian city of Brandon , Manitoba , at the Keystone Center .
Record world champions Canada lost in front of their own audience to the Swedes, who won gold for the third time. The Norwegians won the bronze medal in their third place match against Germany.
