The World Curling Championships the women's 1,991 (official: Canada Safeway World Women's Curling Championship in 1991 ) was the 13th staging of the World Championships in curling of the ladies. The tournament was held from March 23 to 31 of that year in the Canadian city of Winnipeg , Manitoba at the Winnipeg Arena .
Norway defended their title against the hosts. Since there was no match for third place, Sweden and Scotland received the bronze medal together.
