2018 Women's World Curling Championship

The World Curling Championships the women's 2,018 (official: Ford World Women's Curling Championship in 2018 ) took place from 17 to 25 March, North Bay (Ontario) , Canada instead. The venue was North Bay Memorial Gardens.

Unlike in previous years, not 12, but 13 teams took part. At the same time, a new playoff format was introduced, for which the six best teams in the Round Robin qualified. The two winners each made it to the semi-finals. The remaining four teams played for the remaining two semi-finals in two qualifying games, in which the 3rd played against the 6th and the 4th against the 5th. Canada became world champion with Skip Jennifer Jones .
