history

Dölbau and Naundorf (with Stennewitz)

The oldest part of the village is Dölbau, which was mentioned in 1347 as "Tolpen / Tölpe". Naundorf has a church from 1220. Stennewitz has been documented since 1370. Up until 1815, Dölbau, Naundorf and Stennewitz were on the western edge of the Electoral Saxon and Royal Saxon authorities in Delitzsch in the Leipzig district . As a result of the resolutions of the Congress of Vienna , they came to Prussia in 1815 and were assigned to the Delitzsch district in the Merseburg administrative district of the province of Saxony in 1816, to which they belonged until 1950. Stennewitz was incorporated into Naundorf in 1937.

Small ball

Small ball belonged to the Office Giebichenstein in Saalkreis of the Archbishopric of Magdeburg . In 1680 this came under Brandenburg-Prussian rule as the Duchy of Magdeburg . With the Peace of Tilsit in 1807, Kleinkugel was incorporated into the Kingdom of Westphalia and assigned to the Halle district in the Saale department. The place belonged to the canton of Dieskau . After Napoleon's defeat and the end of the Kingdom of Westphalia, Napoleon's allied opponents liberated the Saalkreis in early October 1813. During the political reorganization after the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the place was attached to the administrative district of Merseburg in the Prussian province of Saxony and assigned to the Saalkreis.

History from 1950

In the course of the first district reform in the GDR in 1950, Dölbau and Naundorf with Stennewitz were assigned to the newly tailored hall circle , which in 1952 became the new hall circle in the Halle district . At the same time as it was assigned to the Saalkreis, on July 1, 1950, Kleinkugel and Naundorf near Reideburg were incorporated with Stennewitz to Dölbau. On January 1, 2004, the merger with other municipalities took place to form the unified municipality of Kabelsketal . Since then, Dölbau has been part of the Kabelsketal community.
