The 12th DFB indoor women's cup was held in Bonn in 2005 . The venue was the Hardtberghalle . The 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam defeated in the final to 1. FFC Frankfurt with 5: 3 goals. For the turbines it was the second tournament victory.

mode

The twelve teams of the current Bundesliga season took part in the tournament. These were divided into two groups of six teams each. Within each group, each team played each other once. The group winners and runners-up reached the semi-finals. The semi-final losers then played for third place, the semi-final winners for the tournament victory. If it was a draw from the semi-finals after regular playing time, a nine-meter shootout followed.
