The 2003/04 season was the fourth season since the foundation of the German Junior League , the highest junior league in German ice hockey . The championship was won by the Jungadler Mannheim , led by the outstanding striker Christoph Gawlik and goalkeeper Youri Ziffzer . As champions of the youth league in 2003/04, the EJ Kassel renounced promotion to the DNL.
