Dana Eskelson

Dana Eskelson (born February 6, 1965 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Eskelson made her debut in a larger role alongside Rutger Hauer and Natasha Richardson in the 1992 thriller Without Remorse . In the action thriller Scar (1998) she appeared in one of the larger roles alongside Stephen Baldwin , Chazz Palminteri and Tia Carrere . In the thriller Cold Creek Manor - The House on the River (2003) she played the sheriff of the place where the married couple Cooper Tilson ( Dennis Quaid ) and Leah Tilson ( Sharon Stone ) are threatened by the psychopath Dale Massie ( Stephen Dorff ). The critic for Variety magazine wrote that she had brought her role an "appealing shade" and regretted that the role had not grown.

In the comedy The Dream Date (2005) Eskelson starred alongside Michael Angarano , Cynthia Nixon , Sunny Mabrey and Gina Gershon . In the same year she took on the title role in the play After Ashley . In the revenge thriller The Stranger in You (2007) with Jodie Foster in the lead role, Eskelson played a police painter.
