The Wisconsin State Highway 113 runs through the east and northeast of the Town of Dane. US Highway 12 runs through the extreme southwest corner of the town . In addition, the County Highways P, V and Y run through the town. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
A railway line of the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad (WSOR), a regional ( Class II ) freight transport company, runs through the east of the Town of Dana in a north-south direction .
