The Interstate Highways 39 and 90 , which run on the same route, form the eastern bypass of the city of Madison and lead in part through the area of the Town of Blooming Grove. In the east of the town, US highways 12 and 18, which run on a common route from west to east, cross the interstate. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
For freight traffic, two railway lines of the Union Pacific Railroad and the SOO Line Railroad belonging to the Canadian Pacific Railway run through the area of the town.
