Interstate Highways 39 and 90 run through the east of the Town of Vienna on a shared stretch of route . The Wisconsin State Highway 131 runs through the southwest of the town. In addition, the County Highways I and V run through the town. All other roads are subordinate country roads and some unpaved roads.
A Canadian Pacific Railway runs through the northeast corner of the town, and a Wisconsin and Southern Railroad (WSOR), a regional ( Class II ) freight transport company , runs through the extreme southwest .
The nearest airport is Dane County Regional Airport in Wisconsin's capital Madison (around 15 km south-southeast).
