Daniel Breitfelder

Daniel Breitfelder (* 1981 in Augsburg ) is a German actor .

Life

Breitfelder grew up in a musical family in Hausen, a village with 700 inhabitants near Augsburg. He completed his acting training from September 2002 to July 2006 at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . During his training he already played the Count in Arthur Schnitzler's play “ Der Reigen ” in a studio production at the Otto Falckenberg School .

He had his first engagement from 2006 to 2008 at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt . Here he played in his first season 2006/07 a. a. Romeo in “ Romeo and Juliet ” (director: Martin Schulze), Gavin in “ Ladies' Night ” by Anthony McCarten and Angel in “ Class Enemy ” by Nigel Williams . Other roles in Ingolstadt were the title role in “ Peer Gynt ” (director: Antje Lenkeit), Garry in “ Der nackte Wahnsinn ” by Michael Frayn (director: Peter Rein), Werther in “ The Sorrows of Young Werther ” (director: Martin Schulze ) and Lysander in “ A Midsummer Night's Dream ” (directed by Peter Rein). In 2008 he was awarded the Audience Award at the Ingolstadt Theater.

In 2008 he made a guest appearance at the Augsburg Theater in the role of Alt in Ferdinand Bruckner's play “ Disease of Youth ”.

From 2009 to 2010 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Wuppertaler Bühnen . In the 2011/12 season he was signed as a guest. There he stepped u. a. as Garga in “ In the Thicket of Cities ”, as a painter in “ The Trial ” and in the roles of Banquo / Witch in “ Macbeth ”. He then worked as a freelance actor in Berlin (including in 2010 at the Neuköllner Oper ), at Theater sixty90, the studio stage at Theater Rüsselsheim (2010 and 2011), at Stadttheater Bern (2011) and at Schauspiel Essen (2013; as Orlando in " As you like it ", director: Martin Schulze). At the Rüsselsheim theater he worked with Sophie Basse's independent theater ensemble , which Basse founded in 2007 together with some artist friends in Rüsselsheim, and who played there in the independent theater "sixty90".

At the Staatstheater Hannover he was seen in 2012 as Oskar in the world premiere of Anne Lepper's play “Seymour” ; In 2013 he took on the roles of Dauphin / Lionel in " The Maid of Orleans ".

Breitfelder has been a permanent member of the Theater Bonn ensemble since summer 2013 . He played there ever since. a Johannes Maus / Erwin in “Karl and Rosa” based on the novel by Alfred Döblin (2013/14 season), Mr. Darling / Captain Hook in “ Peter Pan ” (2013/14 season), Fred Stiller in “ Welt am Draht ”(season 2014/15), Richard II./Falstaff in“ Königdramen. Dreams and Trümmer "after William Shakespeare (2014/15 season) and Mephisto in" Faust "(2014/15 and 2015/16 season; with Glenn Goltz in the title role). In the 2015/16 season he took over at the Theater Bonn a. a the role of Helmholtz in " Brave New World " and Frank Rice in " The Entertainer " by John Osborne .

Since 2009, Breitfelder has appeared in several film and television productions. In the Police Call 110 crime thriller Bullenklatschen (2012) he played the police officer Nils Rotter. In the RTL television film Lola Schön - Kommissarin Deluxe , he played alongside Anja Nejarri, her new colleague and professional partner, the police commissioner Tom Gräber.

Breitfelder also had episode roles in the ZDF series Ein Fall für Zwei (2012; as Kevin Kößner, former friend of bank robber Dirk Berger) and Kripo Holstein - Mord und Meer (2014; as a suspected resident Reiner Kruse). In October 2015 Breitfelder was seen in a leading role in the ZDF crime series Coast Guard . He played the charming con artist Abris from Zach. In the 7th season of the ZDF series Heldt (2019), Breitfelder took on one of the episode roles as a former sports teacher Miroslav Wosch on leave, accused of mistreating those under protection.
