Danndorf is a district of the Mainleus market in the Upper Franconian district of Kulmbach .

Geographical location

The village is 4.5 kilometers north of Mainleus. The next larger city is Kulmbach, about seven kilometers away . Danndorf consists of a northern and a southern part, which are somewhat separated from each other. The Zentbach , a tributary of the Main, flows through both of them . In addition, the Sonderungsbach flows in the village.

history

The municipality of Danndorf, about 432 hectares in size and consisting of the municipality parts Danndorf and Schwarzholz , was completely incorporated into Mainleus on January 1, 1978 in the course of the municipal reform.
