Darío Flores , full name Darío Antonio Flores Bitolfi , (born February 6, 1984 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player with Italian roots.

Career

society

Flores began his career at River Plate Montevideo , from whose youth team he comes. For the first time he counted in the Torneo Clasificatorio 2002 to the squad and played there until the Apertura 2005. From the Torneo Clausura 2006 he was three half-series in Peñarol's rows . There are different figures about the number of operations for River Plate Montevideo and the Aurinegros up to this point in time. In the Apertura 2007 he then completed nine games (no goal) for the Montevideo Wanderers . In Clausura and Apertura 2008 he came again for River Plate Montevideo to 28 first division appearances. In January 2009 he signed a contract for three seasons with CFR Cluj , which paid a transfer fee of € 600,000 for him. On March 13, 2009 he made his debut in League 1 when he came on in the 0-0 draw against Rapid Bucharest for Cadu in the 18th minute of the game. In Cluj-Napoca he was used in a total of 14 first division games in the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons. Flores scored a goal. In Romania he won the cup in 2008/09 . In the following season 2009/10 his team, which he left during the season, won the championship. After returning to his homeland, he was a member of the Racing Club de Montevideo squad from Clausura 2010 to Clausura 2011 , where he played in a total of 22 top division games. Then he was in the Torneo Clausura 2011 of the Chilean Primera División at the local Club Palestino under contract. He also played the Apertura 2012 for the Chileans. In the 2013 Clausura he was under contract with Cerro Largo FC in Uruguay's Primera División and played 14 top division games (one goal). In the 2013/14 season he made 25 league appearances for Juventud and scored three goals. He then signed a three-year contract with the Italian Serie B club AC Perugia Calcio on August 1, 2014 . There he was used in seven second division games and two games of the Coppa Italia . He was denied a goal. In mid-January 2015, he joined the Matera Calcio , which was one class lower . In the third division he played 14 times (no goal) in the Lega Pro . Since mid-July 2015 he is again a player for River Plate Montevideo. In the 2015/16 season he was used in 25 first division games (no goal) and eight games (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores 2016 . At the beginning of July 2016 he moved to CSD Municipal in Guatemala . There he ran in 31 league games (no goal). At the end of July 2017, the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Cerro signed him .

National team

Flores belonged to the U-17 team of Uruguay coached by Juan Jacinto Rodríguez , which took part in the U-17 South American Championship in Peru in 2001 and finished in 6th place. On October 26, 2005 he made his debut in the friendly against the Mexican selection under coach Jorge Fossati in the Uruguayan national team when he was substituted on in the 70th minute for fellow debutante Maximiliano Pereira . This was his only international appearance.
