David Hördler (born December 6, 1979 in Bad Muskau , GDR ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for the VER Selb from the league since 2011 . His brother Frank is also a hockey player.

Career

David Hördler comes from the offspring of Eissport Weisswasser. His father Jochen played for Dynamo Weisswasser in the GDR .

David Hördler joined the 1997-98 season for ERC Selb , with whom he relegated to the Oberliga South 1999th Hördler then stayed at the ERC for another two years . After a one-year interlude at ESC Dresden , he returned to Selb for one season in the summer of 2002 . He then joined the EHC Leipziger Eislöwen , for which he played in the Regionalliga from then on .

For the Rostock Piranhas he was the piranhas player with the highest points in the 2006/07 season and rose with his team to the league in the same season. At that time, the trained striker scored 66 points in 46 games. At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he took over the position of captain . His contract in Rostock ran until the end of the 2008/09 season . With the withdrawal of the Rostock Piranhas from the league, David Hördler played for EHC Dortmund from the 2009/10 season . In April 2011 the striker was signed by the VER Selb .
