David Parker (sound engineer)

David Parker (* 1951 ) is an American sound engineer who won two Academy Awards for best sound and was nominated seven more times.

Since 1980 he has participated in more than 150 productions. In 1984 he was nominated for an Oscar for the first time, his first award was in 1998 for the literary film adaptation The English Patient . In 2008 he was able to win the Oscar for the agent film The Bourne Ultimatum again. This film earned him, along with his colleagues, a BAFTA Award and the Satellite Award .
