Davorka Tovilo (born May 11, 1978 or 1979 in Split , Yugoslavia , today Croatia ) is a Croatian photo model living in Germany .

Life

Tovilo came to Germany at the age of twelve as the daughter of Croatian factory workers and lived first in Flörsheim am Main near Frankfurt am Main and then in Munich . After graduating from high school, Tovilo studied communication science and political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and later also dubbing , moderation , singing and acting at the Deutsche POP Academy in Munich. Tovilo has been vegan since 2008 . In 2008 she was a Europe activist for the animal rights organization PETA and protested against bullfighting in front of the Spanish embassy in Berlin that same year . Tovilo describes American cultural history and politics as her areas of expertise . Tovilo speaks Croatian, German, English and Italian. In May 2013 she got engaged to her boyfriend “Mrki” Saša Pašajlić, from whom she separated again in February 2014.

Public performances

The media first became aware of Davorka Tovilo on the occasion of the European premiere of the film The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in Berlin in 2003 , where she acquired her image of always appearing scantily clad. After that, Davorka Tovilo always appeared in an extravagant outfit at film premieres on the red carpet . In 2008 and 2009 Tovilo was a guest at the German Film Ball .

This was followed by appearances in German and Austrian TV entertainment programs such as in the tabloid magazines taff by Pro Sieben (2004-2006, 2008-2011) in the Niels Ruf Show (2008) and Das Sat.1-Magazin (2008) by VOX - Reality- TV show The perfect celebrity dinner (2009, 2011) and in the pulse 4 star magazine PINK! in the section Die Promicamper (2010). In 2008, Tovilo's consultant, media publishing manager Peter von Schall, used the term “Project Davorka” in a joint interview with the online magazine Jetzt . In 2009, Spiegel Online headlined a report about her with “Project Davorka” and referred to her as a starlet in the “District Class Munich” category. She could “not sing, not dance and not act well” and “only offer a mysterious smile and a pair of silicone breasts in size 75 D”. In addition, she has the "willingness to stage herself."

Tovilo received on 14 March 2011 in Bad Homburg the award Večernjakova domovnica in the category entertainment and spectacle.
