Debra Wilson
Debra Renee Wilson Skelton (born April 26, 1962 in New York City ) is an American actress and voice actress . She is also listed as Debra Wilson or Debra Wilson Skelton . Debra Wilson acted among other things in the comedy series MADtv .
Life
Wilson grew up in New York City near Ozone Park in Queens . She attended and graduated from Syracuse University , where she also worked in television and radio.
She made her acting debut in the TV pilot film The Apollo Comedy Hour . After that, she received regular appearances at The Uptown Comedy Club and co-hosted alongside Joan Rivers on Can We Shop? Until October 2006, Wilson hosted various programs on the TV Guide Channel. Well-known films in which she played a role were Avatar by James Cameron and Midlife by Greg Travis .
Wilson is fascinated by spiritual and parapsychological processes. She participated in the Celebrity Paranormal Project of the television channel VH1 .
Wilson has been a charity volunteer for over 16 years .
On April 8, 2006, she married cinematographer Cliff Skelton.
