The Neustadt deanery is a deanery in the diocese of Freiburg .

history

With the reform of the deanery on January 1, 2008, the Neustadt deanery was established as one of 26 deaneries of the Archdiocese of Freiburg . The deanery together with the deaneries Freiburg , Endingen-Waldkirch , Breisach-Neuenburg and Schwarzwald-Baar form the Breisgau / Schwarzwald / Baar region of the Archdiocese of Freiburg .

The pastoral care unit at Titisee was created on January 1, 2015 from the past pastoral care units Titisee-Neustadt and Hinterzarten-Breitnau. The pastoral care unit Dreisamtal was also established on January 1, 2015 from the previous parishes of Kirchzarten and Nördliches Dreisamtal.
