The Dean's Office Konstanz since the deanery reform from 1 January 2008, is one of 26 deaneries in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Freiburg .

history

With the reform of the deanery on January 1, 2008, the deanery of Constance became one of 26 deaneries in the Roman Catholic diocese of Freiburg. The seat of the dean's office in Konstanz is Konstanz . The deanery, together with the deaneries of Hegau , Linzgau , Sigmaringen-Meßkirch and Zollern, forms the Bodensee – Hohenzollern region of the Archdiocese of Freiburg .

Catholic university community of Konstanz

The Catholic Church is present at the University of Konstanz and at the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz for religious questions relating to the student world. The aim of the Catholic University Community of Konstanz is to create framework conditions within the universities through church services, spiritual and thematic offers as well as advice and support within which young people can develop their personalities holistically. In addition, a mutual, critical appreciation of science and Christian faith should be promoted.
