The Dean's Office Offenburg-Kinzig since the deanery reform from 1 January 2008, is one of 26 deaneries in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Freiburg .

history

With the reform of the deanery on January 1, 2008, the Offenburg-Kinzigtal deanery was established as one of 26 deaneries of the Archdiocese of Freiburg. The Dean's Office is in Offenburg . Together with the deaneries Acher-Renchtal and Lahr, the deanery forms the Ortenau region of the Archdiocese of Freiburg.

From the original 16 pastoral care units, their number decreased to twelve pastoral care units by January 1, 2015.
