The dean's office in Linzgau has been one of 26 dean's offices in the Roman Catholic diocese of Freiburg since the reform of the dean's office on January 1, 2008 .

history

With the reform of the deanery on January 1, 2008, it was established as one of 26 deaneries of the Archdiocese of Freiburg. The seat of the dean's office in Linzgau is Meersburg . The deanery together with the deaneries of Hegau , Konstanz , Sigmaringen-Meßkirch and Zollern form the Bodensee / Hohenzollern region of the Archdiocese of Freiburg.

From the original ten, their number had decreased to seven pastoral care units by January 1, 2015.
